Aurora University Athletics

Kirk Johanson joined the Aurora University wrestling coaching staff prior to the 2021-2022 season.

Johanson was an assistant coach at Loyola Academy for two years with three years of collegiate wrestling esperience at Northern Illinois University. 

He is a two-time Illinois High School Association state place winner when he finished third both times for Glenbard North High School. 

He is a Fargo Freestyle National Champion and Greco-Roman Runner up and a FILA/UWW Freestyle Junior National Champion.
