Tristan Wilcox

Tristan Wilcox joined the Spartan softbqll coaching staff as a graduate assistant for the 2014 season after completing a stellar four-year career as a Spartan player.

Wilcox was a two-time AU Female Athlete of the Year (2011-2012 and 2012-2013) to go along with her tremendous on field accomplishments. 

She finished her senior season as a Spartan being named First-Team Northern Athletics Conference All-Conference and a First-Team Louisville Slugger/National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region member. On the year, Wilcox finished with a .417 average, including a team-leading 13 home runs, 14 doubles, 36 runs scored and 49 runs batted in on the season. She had a .813 slugging and .520 on-base percentage. Defensively, Wilcox had a .984 fielding percentage and caught 13 runners stealing in 25 attempts.

In her four-year career, she finished with a batting average of .388 with 145 runs batted in, 132 run scored, an AU career record 52 doubles, 1 triple, an AU career record 40 home runs and 10 stolen bases. In 2010, she was a NFCA First-Team All-Region, NAC All-Conference and All-Freshman Team selection; in 2011 as a sophomore she was named NFCA Second-Team All-Region and NAC All-Conference; In 2012 she was named Team MVP, AU Female Athlete of the Year, NFCA Second-Team All-Region and NAC All-Conference.
