Aurora University Athletics

2014: Appeared in 20 games for the Spartans and started in all 20 of them. She had a record of 13 wins and 5 loses. Through 119 innings pitched she struck out 51 batters and recorded an earned run average of 2.35.

2013:  Was a Second-Team All-Region selection, along with a First-Team All-Confrence Selection. She started 20 games for the Spartans as a pitcher. She recorded 18-2 with a 1.82 earned run average. She pitched 14 complete games with five shutouts and 80 strikeouts in 123.1 innings pitched for the Spartans. She was also named a NACC Scholar-Athlete.

2012:  She appared in 29 games for the Spartans, starting 22 of them.  She recorded 16 wins, 11 losses, and an ERA of 1.71 as the Spartan's pitcher. She was named the NAC Freshman of the Year, First-Team All-Conference and to the All-Freshman Team She was selected as a 2011-2012 NAC Scholar Athlete.

High School: She graduated from Union Grove High School in Union Grove, Wisc., in 2011.  While in high school she participated in softball and basketball.  For softball she played under Coach Ryan Boylen who led their team to be Wisconsin State Champions. She was named 1st Team All-District, Honorable Mention All-State, two-time 1st Team All-Conference, three-time 1st Team All-Area, three-time 1st Team All-County, and received four varsity letters.  She played under Coach Rob Domagalski in basketball, being named Second Team All-area and receiving three varsity letters. 

Personal: She was born on 04/15/1993 in Racine, Wisc.

Family: Dan Zanella and Stephanie Sorenson.  She has two brothers and one sister.

Hobbies: Movies, music, and being with friends.
