College as a Freshman ('09-'10): She was selected as a 2009-2010 NAC Scholar Athlete.

High School: Attended Madison Edgewood High School and played four years of varsity basketball under Coach Lora Staveness. She was named All-Conference, Honorable Mention Second-Team All-Area, Team Captain and Honorable Mention All-State as a senior. She also competed in four years of varsity track and field under Coach Gary Thorton. She was named Team MVP her sophomore year, Most Improved as a junior and qualified for the state tournament and named Team MVP as a senior. She also was a member of the varsity cross country team, where she was named Most Valuable Newcomer her junior year.

Family: John and Kathy Gifford. She has two brothers, Andy and Jeff.

Hobbies: All sports and shopping.

Majors: Business Commerce and Business Administration.

Minor: Spanish.
