Mike Grzesiak joined the Aurora University Women’s Basketball program as an assistant coach prior to the 2019-2020 season. Grzesiak brings with him both a strong love of the game plus a solid foundation of skills-based basketball knowledge gained from 14 years of girls basketball coaching experience at all levels including Youth, Select, AAU and eight years of High School coaching experience. Prior to the 2025-2026 season he was promoted to Assistant Head Coach.
Grzesiak spent the last three years as the Head Coach of Grafton High School (Grafton, WI), where he compiled a 45-25 record. While there, he coached an Honorable Mention All-State player who was a 1,781-point scorer, the North Shore Conference Player of the Year and a three-time 1st Team All-Conference selection. Additionally, Grzesiak coached a team of select high school girls basketball players on a tour of Italy.
A graduate of Marquette University with a degree in business administration, Grzesiak earned a master’s of science in recreation and sport sciences, with an emphasis in coaching, from Ohio University. Grzesiak is married to Beth and they have two girls, Madison and Marisa.
