Aurora University Athletics

Lindsey Simpson joined the Aurora University Athletic Department as a Graduate Assistant for the Spartan Volleyball program in August of 2022 and is currently working on her master's degree in psychology. 

Simpson graduated from Aurora University in the spring of 2021, earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology. 

During her undergrad, Simpson was an athletic ambassador for the university, serving as a critical recruiting asset for the Spartan women’s volleyball program. She also led campus tours promoting athletic and academic accomplishments to prospective students and families. Additionally, Simpson served as assistant to director of the Black Student Union from 2019 to 2021, and student research assistant during her senior year. 

Simpson was a four-year member of the Spartan women’s volleyball program. Her career includes a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Second-Team selection in her junior season and a member of the Spartan 2018 Regional Champion team. 

Simpson is a native of Flossmoor, Illinois.
