Dan Vizkaya joined the Aurora University wrestling coaching staff prior to the 2021-2022 season.

Vizkaya has served as an assistant coach at Waubonsee Community College and Aurora Christian High School. He is a two-time NCAA Division III All-American at McKendree University and was a NJCAA All-American during his time at Waubonsee Community College.

Vizkaya is a professional MMA Athlete 21-4 (Bellator, UFC TV Show), former RCC Light Heavyweight Champion and 2018 IBJJF Blue Belt Worlds Masters Champion.
