Aurora University senior goalkeeper Amanda Liss (St. Charles, Ill./St. Charles East) was named the NorthernAthletics Conference Women's Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending October 7, 2012. 

Liss kept the No. 11 Spartans unbeaten with a pair of victories on the week. She recorded three saves in a 4-0 shutout at Benedictine University and six saves in a 2-1 overtime win at Principia College.
 
On the season, Liss is 6-0 with three shutouts and a team-leading 0.32 goals against average for the Spartans, 14-0-1 overall; 9-0 in the NAC. Next action for Liss and the Spartan women's soccer team comes on Sunday, October 14 when they host Lakeland College. Game time is set for 1:30 p.m. on Vago Field.
