Aurora University freshman jumper Nick Williams (Port Charlotte, Fla./Port Charlotte H.S.) was named the Northern Athletics Conference Men’s Indoor Track and Field Student-Athletes of the Week for the week ending January 20, 2013. The award is Williams second consecutive to start the 2013 season.
 
Williams once again set multiple school records and a NAC record at the North Central College Cardinal Opener. He set an AU and NAC record in the long jump (7.16 meters) and broke his own AU record in the triple jump (13.99 meters) as he placed first in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump.
 
Next action for the Spartan men's indoor track and field teams comes on Friday, February 1 and Saturday, February 2 when they travel to Illinois Wesleyan University for the Titan Classic in Bloomington, Ill.
