Aurora University women’s golf student-athlete Victoria Phipps (Oswego, Illinois/Rosary H.S.) was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women’s Golf Student-Athlete of the Week.

The AU freshman tied for first in both meets she competed in for the Spartans. She shot a 16-over-par 87 at the Benedictine University Triangular on Saturday, September 13 and followed it up with a 9-over-par 80 at the Benedictine University Fall Invite on Sunday, September 14.

Next action for the Spartan golf team comes on Wednesday, September 17 when they travel to Elmhurst College for the Bluejay Invitational. Start time is set for 11:00 a.m. in Oakbrook, Illinois.
