Aurora University women's cross country student-athlete Jackie Schane is this week's Spartan female athlete of the week.

The sophomore runner has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week, her second consecutive week receiving the honor.
 
The AU sophomore won the 2016 AU Spartan Cross Country Classic with a time of 22:44.43 as the Spartans finished third as a team.
 
Next action for the Spartan cross country team comes on Friday, September 23 when they travel to the Brisman-Lundeen Invitational at Augustana College. Meet time is set for 4:30 p.m. at Saukie Golf Course in Rock Island, Illinois.
