Aurora University junior attackman Trevor McNamara was named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference (MLC) Offensive Player of the Week.

McNamara helped the Spartans to a 14-10 season opening victory over Illinois Wesleyan University. McNamara scored three goals with two assists in the win while adding a pair of ground balls.

The highlight of the day came from McNamara as well. Midway through the second quarter, he pulled off a trick play (watch here) that led to a momentum swinging goal. The goal started a 7-0 Spartan scoring run and was his first of the afternoon.
