Aurora University senior Steve Ruffin was named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Indoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week.

Ruffin had a strong showing at the University of Chicago Phoenix Open to open the season. He won the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.29 seconds and finished second in the 200-meter at 23.23.
