Snyder had five complete games in her six starts on the week and struck out 64 in 43-1/3 innings pitched. She had one-hit shutouts against Dominican University (4-0) and Wisconsin Lutheran College (7-0) on the week as well. She struck out 15 against Dominican and 16 against Wisconsin Lutheran. The Spartans went 7-1 for the week, improving to 32-7 on the season. 

On the season, Snyder is 20-5 with a 1.48 earned run average, 209 strikeouts in 160-2/3 innings pitched and opponents are hitting just .207 against (122 hits allowed).

The Spartan softball team (32-7 overall; 22-2 NAC) is in action next on Friday, May 7, 2010, when they travel to the 2010 Northern Athletics Conference Tournament hosted by Alverno College. The Spartans are the No. 2 seed in the tournament and will take on the winner of Dominican University (No. 3) and Marian University (No. 6). Game time is set for 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7 at Alverno College.
