Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.

Senior Spotlight: Andrew Grabowski (Men's Soccer)
Major: Exercise Science     Minor: Spanish
What are your plans after graduation? To attend PT (physical therapy) school.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? When I had a two on one dissection with Dr. Chen.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? Winning regular season conference in the fall of 2019.
Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at? Basketball and football.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? My hobbies are hiking and working out.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? Pizza.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? Ryan Lakin because of all he has done to improve my soccer skills and to drive how important academics are.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? Most: Very competitive; Least: Conditioning
Do you have any pregame rituals? I always retie my cleats and fix my shin guards after the national anthem.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Make sure you know how to manage your time.
What is something that people may not know about you but should? I actually enjoy reading even though I do not read very often.
