Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.

What are your plans after graduation? To coach hockey or to work in a boarding school.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? My most memorable academic experience at AU was taking the Business in Golf class.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? My most memorable athletic moment at AU was when we made playoffs for the first time in program history.
Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at? Lacrosse.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? Hanging out with my friends.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? Chicken Nugget day.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? Jackie Kooistra because she pushed me to become a better hockey player and a person.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? What I enjoy the most at practice is doing battle drills and being with my friends.
Do you have any pregame rituals? I always like to be the first one dress and the last person to get on the ice.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Don't take anything for granted because college goes by fast.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? Any country song I could listen on repeat.
What is something that people may not know about you but should? I went to boarding school in Vermont.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why?          Â
Herb Brooks because I am fascinated with his coaching philosophy and am curious on how he recruited his players.
Adam Sandler because he is funny and I feel like it would be interesting.
Andrew Shaw because he is a good hockey player and he seems like he would be cool.
