Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.

Senior Spotlight: Ha'ashim Keys (Men's Basketball)
Major: Business
What are your plans after graduation? Continue my basketball career, going overseas.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? Being accepted into the university.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? Gatherings with the team.
Other than the sport(s) you play, what other sports activity are you good at? Chess and swimming.
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? Playing the game.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? Chicken tenders.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? The trainers, because they help with my bad knees.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? Just being around my teammates is the best and running is the least enjoyable moment.
Do you have any pregame rituals? Listening to my playlist and always saying a quick prayer.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Live for the moment, always be present and take in every opportunity that you get in college because you only can do it once.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? Meek mill dreams and nightmares.
What is something that people may not know about you but should? I can sing.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why? My brothers and LeBron James. LeBron is more than just a basketball player he's a father, teacher, and the best basketball player on the planet and I believe I can learn so much from him not just basketball but things about life.
