Throughout the 2020-2021 year, the Aurora University athletic department will highlight the senior student-athletes. The seniors will provide some insight to their time at AU while getting to know them as individuals they have grown into in their time as a Spartan.

Senior Spotlight: Brandon Langys (Men's Volleyball)
Major:Â Computer Science
What are your plans after graduation? Work, accepting a position as a full stack developer at Assurant.
What is your most memorable/best academic experience at AU? The internship opportunities.
What is your most memorable athletic moment at AU? Beating BenU.
Other than the sport(s) you play; what other sports activity are you good at? Golfing (not really).
Outside of sports, what is your favorite hobby or activity? Gaming, developing and dancing.
What is your favorite meal in the cafeteria? Chicken nuggets with Mac and Cheese.
What AU faculty or staff member had the greatest impact on you and why? Coach Ames, taught me a lot of life lessons in volleyball that I'm using every day in my professional life.
What do you enjoy most and least about practice? Most: being with the team and playing ball and Least: needing to leave practice for class.
Do you have any pregame rituals? Eat together, watch film together and visual together.
What advice would you give to underclassmen at AU? Go out, network, and enjoy the time you have at AU, it's quick and can be some of the best memories you've made yet, only if you make it that way.
If you had to listen to one song on repeat forever, what would it be and why? All Time Low - Job Bellion.
What is something that people may not know about you but should? I have a twin sister.
If you could spend an hour each with three people (past or present), who would you choose and why? Elon Musk, Nikola Tesla and Robert Downy Jr.
