Aurora University Spartan women’s indoor track and field runner freshman Krystle Eskridge (Glendale Heights, Ill./Glenbard East H.S.) was named Northern Athletics Conference Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending January 23, 2011. 

Competing in the indoor portion of the Spartans’ schedule, Eskridge set a school record in the 400-meter dash, finishing third with a time of 1:04.28; was part of the distance medley relay team that won the event with a time of 13:26.66; and was on the 4x400-meter relay that finished fourth of 11 teams with a time of 4:29.88.

Next action for Eskridge and the Spartan women's track and field team comes on Friday, January 28, 2011, when they travel to the Carthage College Invitational. Meet time is set for 3:30 p.m. in Kenosha, Wis.
