Aurora University women's hockey senior goaltender Chiara Pfosi was named the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week following AU's weekend series sweep of Concordia University Wisconsin. Pfosi continues her strong play in net with her fourth NCHA honor.
 
Pfosi, the NCHA Defensive Player of the Week for a league-best fourth time this season, doing it again in impressive fashion as she led AU to a weekend sweep of Concordia Wisconsin. In the pair of outings, Pfosi allowed just one goal (0.50 GAA) and stopped 42 of the 43 shots that went her way (.977 save percentage) while limiting the Falcons to a 1-for-14 showing on the power play.

Pfosi posted her sixth shutout win of the season to open the weekend (3-0 Friday) and now tops the NCHA on the campaign in both goals-against average (1.36) and save percentage (.941) as Aurora moves to 14-2 on the year.
