Aurora University junior forward Enrique Gonzalez was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Soccer Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

He earned the NACC honor after he led AU to a pair of NACC wins over Rockford and Lakeland and a non-conference loss at North Central (Ill.). He recorded five goals with a pair in the 4-0 win over Rockford and a hat trick in the 5-1 victory over Lakeland. Gonzalez finished the week with 15 shots, including 10 on goal.

On the season he leads the Spartans (7-3-2 overall and 5-0-1 NACC) in points (29) and goals (13) while adding three assists with one goal being a game-winning goal.

Next action for the Spartan men's soccer team comes on Wednesday, October 4 when they host Edgewood College. Game time is slated for 7:00 p.m. at Spartan Athletic Park in Montgomery, Illinois.
