Aurora University junior Deedee Colon Maldonado was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Indoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. The honor is the fourth for her on the 2024 season.

Colon Maldonado earned the honor after she was named Women's Track Athlete of the Year at the 2024 NACC Indoor Track and Field Championships after winning four event titles, including the distance treble (Mile-3000-5000). Already possessing the all-time NACC records in the mile and 3,000, Colon Maldonado broke the championship record of 5:08.65 in the mile set by Aurora's Emily Paull in 2015 and 10:19.63 in the 3K set by Aurora's Jackie Schane in 2018. In addition to the treble, Colon Maldonado also anchored Aurora to victory in the distance medley relay (13:04.33).ACC record of 17:30.29 set by the Spartans' Jackie Schane in 2018. Her time currently ranks ninth on the NCAA Division III performance list and tops the NACC performance list by 62 seconds.
