The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced its 3 Stars of the Week. AU Spartan men's hockey forward Landry Schmuck was named one of the three stars of the week, a fourth time earning the award this season.

Schmuck earned the recognition after he compiled four points (three goals and one assist) to help the Spartans earn a difficult sweep over No. 4 Trine. He posted a goal at 14:35 in the 2nd period of Friday's game to go along with two helpers. The Huntsville, Ala., native then scored twice on Saturday, including the game-winning power-play marker in the 3rd period. He also had an assist in the 2nd period.

On the season, Schmuck leads the third-ranked Spartans (18-3 overall and 12-2 NCHA) in goals with 24 while being second in points at 34. He has 10 assists with six of his goals coming as game-winning tallies on the year. The 24 goals by Schmuck leads NCAA Division III by a seven goal margin.
