Aurora University freshman Mattias Morris has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Morris earned the honor after he led AU to a come-from-behind victory at the Lake Forest Forester Spring Invitational. Morris finished third overall with a 36-hole total of 137 (68-69), helping the Spartans erase a one-stroke deficit en route to a three-stroke win.

Next action for the Spartan men's golf team comes on Tuesday, April 22 at day two of the North Central College Cardinal Classic. First tee time is slated for 9:30 a.m. in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
