Aurora University freshman Ty Pennypacker has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. This week's honor encompasses all competition during the week prior to the NACC Men's Golf Championships.

Pennypacker earned the honor after he worked his way into the AU lineup and paid immediate dividends with a two-round total of 144 (72-72) to finish second overall as an individual while the Spartans won their their seventh consecutive tournament of the 2024-2025 season and ninth overall at the North Central Cardinal Classic.

Next action for the Spartan men's golf team comes on Tuesday, May 20 through Friday, May 23 at the 2024-2025 NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championship. The rounds will take place at Midvale Country Club in Penfield, New York.
