Aurora University senior Steven Tinsley (men's field) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Outdoor Track & Field Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals.

Tinsley was named Men's Field Athlete of the Meet at the 2025 NACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships after the shot put and discus throw and placing third in the hammer throw. On day one, he won the shot put with a championship-record toss of 16.77 meters (55-0 1/4), breaking the old record of 15.92 meters set by Aurora's Adrian Kibuersza in 2009. In the hammer throw, Tinsley posted a mark of 51.05 meters (167-6). He scored the victory in the discus throw by uncorking a toss of 49.50 meters (162-5) on his final throw of the competition.
