Aurora University senior Lauren Bliefernicht was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Women's Outdoor Track and Field Student-Athlete of the Week, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. 

Bliefernicht earned the honor after she was named Women's Track Athlete of the Meet at the 2025 NACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships after winning the 100- and 200-meter dashes and helping the Spartans to a pair of third-place relay finishes. She set a personal best time in the 100 with a time of 12.04 seconds and took the 200 title with a time of 25.31 seconds. Bliefernicht also helped the Spartans to third-place finishes in the 4x100 (49.54) and 4x400 (4:06.02) relays.

Next action for the Spartan track and field team comes on Friday, May 9 at the University of St. Francis Fighting Chance Invitational hosted by the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois.
