The Aurora University women's soccer team concluded the 2014 regular season with a non-conference match-up of regionally ranked teams at Illinois Wesleyan University. AU took down the host Titans 1-0 on Wednesday night.

Nicci Bermudes tallied her 11th assist of the season, finding senior
Lorelei Ritzert with the pass and Ritzert put the ball in the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.
Spartan sophomore goalkeeper
Rachael Warnock maintained the shutout, stopping eight Titan shots for her fourth shutout of the season and the Spartans 12th of the year including the last five games. With the shutout, AU now has now allowed a goal in 451:06 of game time. The scoreless streak by AU opponents is the second longest of the season, with the AU goalkeepers stringing together a streak of 551:49 earlier in the season.
With the win, AU is now
15-3-1 overall and 10-0 in the NACC. Next action for the Spartan women's soccer team comes on
Tuesday, November 4 when they host the semi-final round of the 2014 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament. AU will take on a NACC opponent to be determined 2:00 p.m. on Vago Field.
