On the road in a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference volleyball contest at Rockford University, the Aurora University Spartans defeated the Regents 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-23).
Senior setter
Lexi O'Boyle set the stage for the Spartans with 26 assists and 13 digs while
Peyton McKenzie (14 kills),
Brooke Pylant (13 kills) and
Alexis Hammond (eight kills) led the offense hitting. Sophomore
Andrea Kappelman led the defense with 16 digs with fellow sophomore
Katie Olsen adding 11 digs.
With the 3-0 win, AU is now 16-7 overall and 2-1 in the NACC. Next action for the Spartan volleyball team comes on
Saturday, October 4 when they travel to Wisconsin Lutheran College. Game time is set for 12:00 p.m. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
