2013: Kappelman was named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Athletics Freshman of the Year, Second Team All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference All-Freshman Team. She appeared in 97 sets, recording 306 kills and 360 digs.

High School: Graduated from Hermiston High School in 2013. She received a varsity letter from Volleyball.
