Joe Jablonski. Just 32 seconds later though Norbert forward Joe Condon took advantage of a defensive miscue at the AU blue line to create a 2-0 against Spartan goalkeeper
Paul Favaro. Condon made an impressive move with his stick handling and beat Favaro to tie the game.
The Spartans responded a few minutes later with a power play goal from
Ryan Davlantes with an assist coming from Jablonski. AU's
Robert Gervino scored later in the first period to round out the scoring and give AU a 3-1 lead. He was assisted by

Conor Jonasson giving AU a 4-1 lead that would remain the score at the second intermission.
The third period provided some intrigue and excitement to the game. Bergquist started the wild period by scoring unassisted 1:28 into the period.
Leading 5-1, the Spartans allowed a power play goal at 4:25 and then while on the power play, the Spartans allowed the short handed goal at 7:26 that pulled St. Norbert within two at 5-3 with lots of game time to play.
