Before entering the Christmas break, the Aurora University women's basketball team traveled to Concordia University Wisconsin to take on the Falcons looking to extend their win streak to four games. AU could not overcome the home court advantage and fell 66-47.
In the first 10 minutes of the opening half, the Spartans and Falcons played an even contest, with the game being tied at 16-16.
Over the next 6:30 though the Falcons went on a 15-4 run to take a comfortable lead before going into halftime with the Spartans down 37-27.
Shannon Koski had 10 points with
Neely Marks adding eight points and nine rebounds to lead AU in the first-half.
AU found themselves in a cold snap from the field as Concordia started the second half on a 14-5 run.
When the final horn sounded, AU fell 66-47. AU is now 3-8 overall and 3-4 in the NACC. Koski led AU with 13 points and five assists while Marks brought in a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

Tuesday, December 30 when they host Elmhurst College. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m. in Thornton Gymnasium.
