Box Score The Aurora University Spartan women's lacrosse team took on the Vikings from Augustana College on Saturday afternoon on Vago Field. The Spartans were defeated by the Vikings with a final score of 20-2.

Augustana jumped out of the gates early and scored four goals in the first two minutes of the game.  They continued to utilize this fast paced offense throughout the game and went into halftime with a 14-0 lead.

Aurora was able to get the ball past the Viking goalie twice in the second half with goals coming from Lexi Wright and Jordan Nielsen.  However, the Spartans were outscored 6-2 in the second half.

With the loss, the Spartans are now 3-10 overall and 2-6 in the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference.  Their next action comes on Sunday, April 27 as they head on the road to Fontbonne University.  Game time is set for 3:00 p.m. in St. Louis, Mo.
