Spartan women fall at Concordia Wisconsin 16-3

Box Score The Aurora University women's lacrosse team lost a Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference match-up Tuesday afternoon at Concordia Wisconsin 16-3.

AU scored to tie the game 1-1 with 24:40 left in the first-half when sophomore Danielle Morgan tallied an unassisted goal.

The host Falcons would score nine straight goals for a 10-1 into the second half.

The Spartans tried to make a game of the MLWC contest scoring twice, both goals from Jordan Nielsen early in the second half. But the Falcons had too much offense for the Spartans, scoring six more times for the 16-3 final score.

AU is now 2-7 overall and 1-3 in the MWLC. Next action for the Spartan women's lacrosse team comes on Friday, April 11 when they host Loras College. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m. on Vago Field. As part of AU-NCAA Division III week, AU is sponsoring a surround the stadium event in conjunction with the women's lacrosse game. Come out and support your women's lacrosse team.
