The Aurora University Spartan hockey team opened the 2015-2016 season Friday night at the Fox Valley Ice Arena against the No. 2 University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point. After a tightly played opening period that saw the teams knotted up 1-1, UWSP pulled away to defeat AU 7-3.
