For the second consecutive night the Aurora University Spartan hockey team welcomed a nationally ranked opponent from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, this time the No. 9 Blugolds from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. AU fell to the Blugolds 10-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Blugolds jumped out to a 3-0 lead
Spartan goal by Paul Lochner assists from Anthony Pnewski and Conor Jonasson 11:46 into the first period.
Eau Claire scored once in the third period before adding six goals in the third and final period.
