The Aurora University men's basketball team opened the 2015-2016 season at Millikin University on Wednesday night with a 105-93 win. The Spartans scored 61 points in the first half while shooting just under 70-percent from the field.

Millikin battled to make a game of the contest in the second half but AU held on for a 12 point win.
The Spartans ended up shooting 61.7-percent (37-of-60) from the field including 12-of-25 from three-point range.
10 Spartans scored on the night with those 10 players playing double-digit minutes.

Jovon Griffin had 19 points and five assists.
Chris Fritsch had 18 points and eight rebounds.
