For the first time in the short history of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference a men's outdoor track and field team repeated as Conference Champions and it was was Aurora University Spartans who had the record setting day at the two-day NACC Championships. The Spartans trailed 64 to 49 after day one but exploded on day two to win by 99 points with 266.5. Out of the 21 events that make up the NACC Track Championships, Spartans won 10 of those events.

Kalmon Stokes was named the NACC Athlete of the Meet, Freshman
Anthony Barrios was named Freshman of the Meet and Head Coach
Ryan Chapman was the Men's Coach of the Year. Stokes and Barrios won the awards with their performances in their events.
