The Aurora University Spartans traveled to Appleton, Wisconsin and Lawrence University for a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association match-up on Friday night. The Spartans were shutout 7-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lawrence scored the eventual game winning goal midway through the first period.
With under a minute left in the opening period, Lawrence scored again to take a 2-0 lead.
Lawrence added the only goal in the second period 2:40 in to lead 3-0.
In a four minute span of the third period, Lawrence added three power play goals and then a fourth with just under five minutes to play.

Jared Rutledge made 44 saves for Aurora
 
FOR THE FOES
Felix Henriksson, Josh Koepplinger and Renato Engler each had two goals.
Matthias Soderqvist had 27 saves in the shutout win.
