The Aurora University Spartans traveled to Appleton, Wisconsin and Lawrence University for a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association match-up on Friday night. The Spartans were shutout 7-0.

HOW IT HAPPENEDLawrence scored the eventual game winning goal midway through the first period.
With under a minute left in the opening period, Lawrence scored again to take a 2-0 lead.
Lawrence added the only goal in the second period 2:40 in to lead 3-0.
In a four minute span of the third period, Lawrence added three power play goals and then a fourth with just under five minutes to play.

Matthias Soderqvist had 27 saves in the shutout win.
