The Aurora University women's soccer team wrapped up the regular season with a 3-0 victory at Alverno College on Wednesday afternoon. The win combined with other contests in the NACC will give the Spartans a home game in the opening round of the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament that opens up on Saturday, October 29.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Early in the game at 9:40, Spartan
Gaby Adamson struck a ball from 25 yards out that found the back of the net and AU led 1-0.
Despite a decided advantage in the opening half, AU went into the intermission leading just 1-0.
The game remained 1-0 until the 78th minute when
Corynne McEachern scored on a penalty kick to give AU a 2-0 lead.
Just over six minutes later in the 84th minute,
Hannah Scahill scored off a free kick just outside the box and the Spartans had the game all but sealed up at 3-0.
The final score would be 3-0 in favor of the Spartans.
