The Aurora University Spartan hockey team traveled to and took on No. 3 St. Norbert College Green Knights in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association match-up. AU dropped the Friday night game 2-0 before falling in a very closely played contest on Saturday 4-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
AU trailed 1-0 through one period.
In the second period, Brendan Logan scored unassisted at 12:07 to tie the game, 1-1 would be the score heading into the second intermission.
1:10 into the third period, Logan struck again with an assist to Tim Santopoalo and led 2-1.
After two Green Knight tallies within 30 seconds, AU tied the game up at 3-3 when Raurie Petrich lit the lamp at 6:11 of the third.
Midway through the final period, Norbert would get another goal.
AU put up a fight in the final 10 minutes but could not get one past the goalie and fell 4-3.
