The Aurora University women's basketball team clinched an appearance in the 2015-2016 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament with a 62-38 win at Dominican University on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENEDAU took a 3-0 lead 2:15 into the game on a three from
Bethany Dorrington and the Spartan would lead the rest of the game.
The Spartans led 15-10 at the end of the first period.
The AU lead was cut to five by Dominican just over midway through the second period.

Alyssa Brems, AU finished the final 3:54 of the half on an 11-0 run.
The Spartans led by 16 at 34-18 at halftime.
Dorrington started the second half as she did the first with a three.
Anna Roszkowski five straight points and AU had their largest lead of 22 points.
At the end of the third period, AU led 50-26.
The Spartans held their largest lead on a lay-up from
Ashley Wilk. 30 points (58-28).
AU would go on to win by 24, 62-38 and clinch an appearance in the upcoming NACC Tournament with the seed to be determined.

Mallory Cast had 11 points.
Anna Roszkowski had 10 points and eight rebounds.
