The Aurora University men's lacrosse team hosted longtime lacrosse rival Adrian College on Saturday afternoon on Vago Field. For the first time in regular season play and second straight match-up the Spartans went home victorious with a 19-2 win.

Matt Sammarco had the first goal.
The Spartans would score four more times in the first quarter, one on a man-up.
The eventual game winning goal came from Sammarco on a man-up situation.
The second quarter saw much of the same as AU smothered Adrian on defense and on offense scored six more times.
With 9 seconds to play before the half,
Jason Koziol sent a pass to
Bailey Smith who had a sweet behind the back goal.
At halftime, AU led 11-0 with Adrian only having five shots in the first half.
After the Spartans built a 15-0 lead, Adrian finally got on the board with 3:44 to play in the third.
As Head Coach
Kylor Berkman got all his players in the game, AU added four more goals in the final quarter for the 19-2 win.
