Facing their opponent for the second time this season, the Aurora University hockey team played host to the Lake Forest College Foresters on Friday night at the Fox Valley Ice Arena. AU fell behind early and despite controlling possession time only managed one goal in a 4-1 loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Lake Forest scored a power play goal 7:25 into the first period.
In the second period the Foresters added to their lead with a pair of goals to take a 3-0 lead.
Late in the second period and on the power play, AU scored to get on the board. Ron Lindgren tallied the goal with assists from Rihards Marenis and Rudolfs Kalvitis.
Lake Forest scored the final goal of the game late in the third period to make the score 4-1.
 
FOR THE SPARTANS
Ron Lindgren scored a power play goal for the Spartans.
Rihards Marenis and Rudolfs Kalvitis both had an assist.
Jared Rutledge had 33 saves.
 
FOR THE FOES
Ian Pichel had a goal and an assist.
Leo Podolsky had 21 saves.
