Cooks to run for NCAA Championship in 60 meter hurdles

Aurora University sophomore hurdler Bobby Cooks took on the 60 meter hurdle field on Friday, March 11 at Grinnell College in the 2016 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships.

Cooks hurdled a time of 8.05 in heat 2 of the 60 meter hurdles. With his time, the sixth fastest out of the 15 competitors at the NCAA Championships, Cooks will run for the NCAA National Championship in the event on Saturday, March 12, 2016. Finishing in the top eight and in the finals makes Cooks an All-American in the 60 meter hurdles for the second consecutive season. He was the national runner-up in 2015.
