On Thursday, March 17, Aurora University will once again be the site of the annual Hoops for Hope basketball game. The fifth annual contest sponsored by Mu Sigma Pi in AU's Thornton Gymnasium will begin at 12:00 p.m.
The hour long game between members of the AU faculty, staff, Mu Sigma Pi club members and special guests, and the Rockets of Hope D. Wall (Special Olympics) will also feature a variety of events during breaks in the action. At halftime, the Pie in the Face event which features the ability to pay ($1.00) to pie a coach, professor or staff member. Additionally a 50-50 raffle and half court shot contest will be held.
