Dominant performance lifts Spartans over Cougars

The Aurora University men's lacrosse team got back in the winning column with a 29-0 defeat of Concordia University Chicago on a rainy Vago Field Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
AU scored 49 seconds into the game with JK Torres scoring an unassisted goal and the Spartans never looked back.
The Spartans spread the ball around, scoring 11 times in the first quarter with five Spartans tallying goals.
The second quarter saw AU score 13 more times as all dress players saw action.
AU would add four goals in the third and one final tally in the fourth.

10 different Spartans scored goals with 12 picking up assists.
The AU defense caused 19 turnovers, limited Concordia to 2-of-15 on clears and allowed two shots the entire game.
