The Aurora University men's lacrosse team took to the road and visited men's lacrosse rival Carthage College. AU jumped out to an early lead, with stood a Red Men comeback before extending the lead late for the 13-9 victory.

After a Carthage goal, Torres lit the lamp for the second time in the second quarter.
AU added two goals in 14 seconds later in the second quarter. The first goal came from
Max Matthai with an assist to
Ben Arends and the second from
Trevor McNamara.
Carthage tallied two goals to cut the AU lead to 6-4 but McNamara pushed the lead up to three with his second tally of the night.
Heading into halftime, AU led 7-4.
In the first five minutes of the third quarter, AU scored three times (Koziol,
Matt Sammarco and
Bailey Smith) to push the lead to 10-4.
Carthage started a 5-0 run that extended into the fourth quarter and with 10:17 to play in the game, AU led by one,10-9.
The Spartan defense settled down and the offense took over down the stretch as the Spartans would score the games final three goals.
Glaser scored at 9:26 and McNamara scored his third and fourth of the game in the final five minutes.

When the always hard played contest between the two teams ended, the Spartans were victorious 13-9.
FOR THE SPARTANSAU remained unbeaten against Carthage with the victory. The Spartans are now 8-0 in six seasons.
Trevor McNamara had four goals.
Jason Koziol had two goals and one assist.
JK Torres and
