The Aurora University women's lacrosse team traveled west to Los Angeles, California for the second game of their spring break trip. AU took on Claremont-Mudd-Scripps University and lost 18-6 on Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENEDClaremont jumped out to a demanding 7-0 lead beginning the scoring 39 seconds into the game.
AU answered with a unassisted goal fromÂ
Taylor Arcivar to put Aurora on the board midway through the first half.
Claremont then went on to score four more goals before Aurora answered with a goal from
Andrea Colford with 8:39 left in the first half.
Claremont would finish the scoring in the first half with two more goals making it 13-2 going into halftime.
In the second half, Claremont would come out netting three more goals before AU's
Rachel Cochran put one past the keeper to make it 16-3.
After another tally from Claremont, AU's
Kenny Hughes would score two goals to make it 17-5.Â
Rachel Cochran then scored her second goal of the game to make it 17-6.
Claremont would end the scoring with a goal 3:09 left in regulation to making the final 18-6
