The Aurora University men's hockey team took the trek north to Ashland, Wisconsin to take on Northland College. A few minute span in the first period proved to much for the Spartans as the fell 6-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED
In a 3:44 span midway through the first period, Northland scored four times to lead 4-0.
Early in the second period, the host Jacks added a tally to go up 5-0.
The Spartans responded at 3:19 of the second with Liam Stirtzinger scoring with assists to Ron Lindgren and Nick DeSimone.
Northland added a short-handed goal in the third for the eventual 6-1 final score.
